Biography: Larry Solow

Larry partners with clients to navigate complex change by strengthening and aligning people, processes, and strategy.

Larry helps clients get results by creating customized solutions that are grounded in state-of-the-art theory while also being practical and user-friendly. Whether creating a “Total Learning Architecture” (People), implementing a Lean Six Sigma initiative (Processes), or facilitating a “Strategic Fitness Planning process (Strategy), he integrates the recognition of organizations as non-linear, “complex adaptive systems” (Alignment) into all of his projects.

Mr. Solow brings real-world, hands-on experience and expertise to every client relationship. Larry has more than 25 years of internal and external change management experience. As an internal change agent, he has served as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Harley-Davidson and as Manager, Total Quality for a division of Honeywell (formally AlliedSignal Aerospace).

He also boasts a wide range of external consulting experience. In the manufacturing sector, he has coached and consulted for Alcan Packaging, Mattel, York International, SKF USA, and Tyco. Service sector clients include South Jersey Healthcare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida, and Federal Express. He also has consulted with not-for-profit institutions including UNICEF, Rotary International, and Amnesty International.

Larry earned a graduate degree in Organizational Communication from Temple University following his BA degree in Human Communication from Rutgers University. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and has been certified as a “Human Systems Dynamics Professional” (HSDP) by the HSD Institute. He has presented at ASTD, SIETAR, IQPC, IAF, SHRM, Project World, Project Summit, Chaos Network, and other major professional conferences.

Biography: Denise Easton

Denise Easton Ms Easton received a certification in Human Systems Dynamics and has focused her research and work on the synthesis of chaos, complex adaptive systems and learning theories to practical applications for organizational development and management practice. She has guided numerous clients in the integration of HSD and technology driven engagement.

In 1999, Ms. Easton, founded ULiveandLearn, a leading digital learning development and business strategy firm and is regarded as an industry expert and is a frequent speaker and panelist on the topic of technology and effective learning program development. She has been actively involved in consulting emerging businesses in the areas of organizational strategy, marketing, business development, and product development. She is working with Nibi Software, a provider of next-generation collaborative learning solutions, to develop a branding, marketing strategy and business development strategy.

Ms. Easton serves as on the board of Nibi Software, a provider of next-generation collaborative learning solutions and is leading their branding, marketing strategy and business development strategy. She is also theInnovate-Ideagora section co-editor of the peer-reviewed e-journal Innovate and a network board for theHuman Systems Dynamics Institute.

 

Biography: Brenda Fake

Brenda Fake has been an Organization Effectiveness professional
for 20 years.

She has worked and applied her skills in diverse set of
industries both public and private that include airline
transportation, telecommunications, financial trading,
engineering consulting, and public works, manufacturing from
food to aerospace. Brenda cut her teeth in operations which have
been the foundation of her practical approach to business
improvement. Published for members of AMSA/AMFA across
North America to take action when planning for emerging
changes in workforce demographics Changing Workforce:
Opportunity or Crisis for leaders within the Public Works arena.
Guest lecturer for the National OD Network, St. Thomas University
and an undergraduate and graduate instructor in School of
Business in Strategic Planning for Metropolitan University in
Minneapolis. Awarded OD Practitioner of Year by United Airlines
in 1996 and an early adopter of consultative media with Blue
House Productions.
Brenda is the Principle of O2 and holds a BA Degree in
Communications from the University of Minnesota, MBA from the
University of St. Thomas and a certificate in Human System
Dynamics from the HSD Institute. Brenda now resides in San
Diego, California with her husband, Tom Rushfeldt and their two
cats.

Biography: Kathleen Lucas

Kathleen Lucas is a skilled OD/training consultant experienced in management, large scale organizational change, teams, performance consulting, coaching, Lean Six Sigma, strategic planning, creating a learning organization, reengineering, all aspects of the training process, succession planning, and staffing.

Kathleen has provided a wide variety of services including large scale organizational change, management/executive development, strategic planning, high performance work organizations, teams, total quality, reengineering and support during all aspects of a joint venture. Clients have included AlliedSignal, Mitsubishi, General Electric, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Honeywell, and Nypro as well as small businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, public education, and higher education.

Ms. Lucas spent almost five years as Manager of Organization Development, Training and Employee Communications for a 5,000 + employee strategic business unit of Honeywell with a global sales force and facilities in the USA, Mexico and Switzerland. While at the MICRO SWITCH division she supervised and supported 18 OD and training professionals, provided facilitation for division-wide reengineering efforts as well as smaller scale process improvements. In addition, Kathleen provided consulting support to other divisions of Honeywell who identified Kathleen's SBU as “best in class” for teaming, training, continuous improvement, and change management.

At Honeywell, Kathleen also played a key role in preparing the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award submission and site visit, and in winning the Illinois Association for Business Excellence Award . She led the employee satisfaction survey process from design through data analysis, communication, and action planning.

Kathleen’s other experience includes leadership roles in Organization, Training and Quality at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Ziff-Davis Communications, Seton Company and NCR.

She holds a Master of Arts degree in Teaching, has served as an adjunct faculty member, and has taught in middle and high schools.
